Welcoming Marlaina Trepanier to the JA Team

Marlaina Trepanier joins Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts

Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts is excited to announce the addition of Marlaina Trepanier as our Regional Education Manager. This newly created position will focus on the expansion of Junior Achievement's education programs across Greater Fall River, Greater Taunton and Greater Attleboro.

Marlaina is an educator with over a decade of experience as a classroom teacher, coach, camp counselor, and music lesson instructor. She has spent the last ten years teaching Middle School humanities and is pursuing a Doctorate of Education. A lifelong resident of the SouthCoast, Marlaina is thrilled to be joining the JA team and looks forward to serving the public schools she attended and grew up near.

“Marlaina is a highly talented and committed educator and community leader and we are thrilled to welcome her to the JA Team,” said Jeffrey Pelletier, President of Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts. “She brings to our work the experience of an educator and the track record of making a difference in young people's lives. The leadership Marlaina will provide will help to grow and expand our impact across the region.”

Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts (JA) is a regional non-profit organization that’s mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in the global economy. JA focuses on high impact learning experiences for K-12 students across the key content areas of financial literacy, career readiness and entrepreneurship that drive long-term outcomes in education development, economic development and youth development. JA’s learning experiences are always free and are implemented in-school, virtually and out-of-school thanks to the support of our volunteers and partners.

Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts serves the 21 cities and towns that make up our region and our learning experiences reach nearly seven thousand students annually. In partnership with the education and business communities, JA is transforming the student experience by bringing relevance, authenticity and application into everyday learning to energize students around academics and their future possibilities.

Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts is the local affiliate of Junior Achievement USA, the nations’ oldest and largest economic education organization with over 100 years of experience.
