JA Supporter of the Week: Susan Miles
Published: Thursday, 29 Oct 2020
For her efforts as a classroom and Titan Business Challenge volunteer, and for always supporting JA’s events and activities across the community …we are excited to announce Sue Miles as our JA Supporter of the Week!
Sue has been an above and beyond volunteer and supporter for JA in so many areas. She has taught numerous classroom programs from elementary school to high school and has also helped JA recruit and train new volunteers. She has played a major role in our Titan Business Challenge Program – recruiting dozens of business mentors each year while also serving as a mentor herself. In 2018, she lead one of her student teams to a Titan Business Challenge victory and $1,500 in scholarships for the students. Sue has also consistently supported JA’s events such as our Strikes for Success Bowling Event as well as our community fundraisers to keep our work 100% free for students and schools.
"Sue has been such an incredible supporter for JA and her efforts have played a significant role in our organization’s continued growth. She is really the type of leader and volunteer that every organization needs – someone who is always looking to help and get others involved to make our community better. We are so grateful for all that Sue always does to support JA and the students and schools we serve across the region!" – Jeff Pelletier, President of Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts
With deep gratitude for Sue’s commitment to supporting JA and making our community a better place, we are proud to honor her as our JA Supporter of the Week!
