JA Supporter of the Week: Nathan Araujo

For his leadership as a JA Board Member and his dedication to supporting local students through JA programs … we are excited to announce Nathan Araujo of Advance Career Services as our JA Supporter of the Week!

Nathan helps lead Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts as an Officer of our Board of Directors. His dedication to JA’s mission is illustrated by his commitment and efforts to bring our free financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship education programs to more students across Southern Massachusetts, and especially in the City of Fall River. Nathan is an active volunteer, teaching multiple JA Classroom Programs in Fall River every year.

Eight years ago, Nathan helped create Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts’ largest student event – the JA Titan Business Challenge – and he has served on the Titan Committee ever since. This annual event brings together more than 200 high school students from across Southern Massachusetts and gives them the opportunity to participate in a dynamic learning experience, hear from some of the region’s top business leaders, and compete for important scholarship awards that can help make a higher education possible. As Master of Ceremonies, Nathan makes the event even more exciting for the students and business mentors participating. Nathan’s company, Advance Career Services, also serves an Event Sponsor for JA’s Titan Business Challenge each year.

Nathan is an active participant in fundraising events – including the JA IRONMAN Golf Championship and JA Strikes for Success bowling fundraiser – which help keep all JA programs 100% free for students and schools.

“Nathan is an outstanding Board Member, volunteer, and supporter of Junior Achievement. In addition to volunteering in local classrooms, he’s been instrumental in growing our Titan Business Challenge to become one of the top student events in the region. We are so grateful for all that Nathan and Advance Career Services do for Junior Achievement and our community!” – Jeffrey Pelletier, Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts President

With deep gratitude for Nathan’s leadership and support, we are proud to honor him as our JA Supporter of the Week!
