JA Supporter of the Week: Maureen Sullivan
Published: Thursday, 18 Feb 2021
For her dedication to JA’s mission and long-time service on Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts’ Board of Directors … we are excited to announce Maureen Sullivan, Modere Social Marketer, as our JA Supporter of the Week!
Maureen has helped lead Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts as a long-time member of our Board of Directors. Her dedication to our mission is illustrated by her outstanding efforts to help bring JA’s free financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship education programs to more students across the region. Maureen has also supported JA by developing partnerships with local businesses and organizing fundraisers at local restaurants.
Maureen’s first experience with Junior Achievement took place when she was a high school student participating in the JA Company Program. This free after-school program empowered students to solve a problem in their community by building and managing their own startup business. In 2020, after years of organizational growth, Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts brought our organization’s founding program – the JA Company Program – back to our local students. Maureen played an important role in this decision, and her experience with and passion for the JA Company Program has helped make its launch such a success this year.
“Maureen’s guidance and leadership have been invaluable to our organization. She always has new ideas for ways JA can better serve local schools and students, and her contributions have had a huge impact on the tremendous growth we’ve experienced over the past few years. We are very fortunate to have Maureen serving as a member of our Board of Directors.” – Jeffrey Pelletier, Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts President
With deep gratitude for her dedication and service, we are proud to honor Maureen Sullivan as our JA Supporter of the Week!
