JA Supporter of the Week: Leslie Poulin

For her service on our Board of Directors, and her significant efforts to boost financial literacy education as a JA advocate and volunteer … we are excited to announce Leslie Poulin of First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union as our JA Supporter of the Week!

Leslie has helped lead JA’s efforts to expand our free education programs across the region, providing invaluable guidance as a Board Member and active contributions across everything that we do in the community. In addition to volunteering herself, she has helped recruit and organize countless volunteers across First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union that teach JA Programs in local classrooms, focusing on issues such as how to manage money, how to plan for a future career, and how to start a business. Importantly, these volunteers share their own career expertise and stories, adding an important mentorship component to the JA experience.

In addition, Leslie has supported the Titan Business Challenge program where students team up with Business Mentors and learn how to manage their own company while competing for scholarship awards. First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union is also generously sponsoring the JA Company Program – a deep-dive experience where high school students learn how to start and operate their own business – and Leslie and her colleagues will be volunteering to support local youth along this entrepreneurial journey.

“Leslie has really been a gamechanger for our organization in recent years. She is always available to share her strategic advice as a member of our Board and she continues to be such an active supporter across every aspect of our work in the community – from classroom programs, to standalone programs to special events. We are lucky to have her on our team and grateful for all that she does!” – Jeffrey Pelletier, President of Junior Achievement of Southern Massachusetts

With deep gratitude for her commitment to supporting Junior Achievement’s life-changing programs as a Board Member and volunteer, we are proud to honor Leslie as our JA Supporter of the Week!
